About the Role:
As a Performing Arts Teacher, you will:
Teach various aspects of drama, music, and dance across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement in A-Level courses.
Develop and implement a diverse and inclusive curriculum that engages and challenges students.
Direct school productions and manage performance events, showcasing student talents.
Collaborate with other arts teachers to integrate performing arts into a broader educational context.
Encourage creativity and self-expression among students, while fostering a love for the arts.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance and skills.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
Holds a degree in Performing Arts, Theatre, Music, Dance, or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Demonstrates a robust background in teaching and directing performing arts in an educational setting.
Possesses strong organizational and leadership skills to manage productions and coordinate events.
Is innovative and can integrate technology and new methodologies into the performing arts curriculum.
Exhibits excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
